What the app does with audio

When you tap Listen, Ear to Eye captures audio from the microphone and sends it to Apple's Speech framework for transcription. Depending on your device and iOS configuration, Apple may process that audio on the device or on Apple's servers to improve recognition accuracy. That processing is governed by Apple's privacy policy; the app asks for your permission (Microphone and Speech Recognition) before any of it happens, and captures audio only while Listen is active.

We — the developer — never receive, store, or have access to your audio.

What stays on your device

• Transcripts exist in the app on your device. They leave it only when you choose to export or share one (for example as a PDF), using the standard iOS share sheet to a destination you pick.
• Settings (pace, display mode, text size) are stored locally on your device.

What we collect

Nothing. Ear to Eye has no user accounts, no third-party analytics or advertising SDKs, and no backend of ours. The app makes no network connections to services we operate.

Whether you install through the App Store or TestFlight, Apple may provide us aggregate information (such as crash logs, and on TestFlight any feedback you explicitly send) according to your device's sharing settings and Apple's policies.

Recording consent

Captioning conversations or calls may be treated like recording them under the laws where you live — some US states require the consent of everyone involved. You are responsible for using the app lawfully.

Children

Ear to Eye is not directed at children under 13 and collects no personal information from anyone.

Changes

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted at this address with an updated effective date.
